A North Florida Prescribed Burn Association board member will contact you shortly after your submission to discuss your application for membership and welcome you to the organization. A three-year membership fee of $100 will be due upon approval of your membership application.
Why Join the North Florida Prescribed Burn Association?
When you become a member of the NFPBA you are not just joining an organization, you are becoming part of an active group of landowners, and other like-minded individuals who have a strong desire to serve, share, work, learn, and train others. You will have many resources available to you, such as expertise to help you achieve your land management goals; guidance on how to plan for and safely conduct prescribed burns on your property; help with getting a burn authorization; experienced burners and volunteer crews to assist in the burn; and, very likely, most of the equipment needed for a safe and successful burn. Just as important is the opportunity to gain experience participating in prescribed burns, performed by experience burners, on other PBA member’s property. These things are priceless. The cooperative attitude of our members allows us to burn each other’s properties and accomplish the goal of increasing the acreage enhanced with, and protected by, prescribed fire.
